Temporary Works Engineering
While United Rentals is known for its incredible products, we also offer a completely in-house temporary works engineering team.
United Rentals (Shore Hire) has a completely in-house temporary works engineering team who are experts in all of our products and their applications and have many years of experience in designing propping and shoring solutions for major contractors and small builders. They support our customers from advice through to fully certified temporary works designs and on-site sign-off.
Our engineers are registered with Engineers Australia (CPEng), the Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland (RPEQ), and the Victoria Building Practitioners Board, and can provide Engineering Certification for United Rentals' range of shoring, propping, and traffic designs.
Using leading structural design and frame analysis engineering software, our engineers design and construct the most robust structures from the ground up to ensure our customers’ projects are completed cost-effectively and safely. Our engineering team also offer Lunch & Learns, to design engineering firms and customers to help educate and inform on best practice and safety.
Our expert team of engineers have seen it all, and review a staggering amount of jobs every month. They will assist any contractor in completing a project on time and on budget with our innovative solutions for all types of temporary propping, jacking, and shoring works.
In addition to our world-class project engineering team, we also have a dedicated product development team who work on research & development and product modelling for our innovative solutions.
